How to Block Another eBay Member
Over the last decade or so eBay has become one of the largest global sales platforms for used and new items. It gives people around the world to buy and sell new and used products of pretty much any type. The prices are generally extremely good as there are so many buyers and sellers the prices need to be competitive in order for them to sell. However, from time to time as a seller you will run into a troublesome buyer that you do not want to deal with. Fortunately, there is a facility on your eBay account that enables you to block eBay buyers from bidding or purchasing any of your products. This article will take you through the basics of how to block eBay member from your account.
Sometimes You Need to Block a Difficult eBay Buyer
Selling on eBay can be great fun and even extremely profitable if you find a good product or products to sell. However, as with any kind of retail there are always customers that are too much trouble to deal with. When you come across this type of customer you will want to block them from your account so they do not cause you anymore problems. To access the eBay block buyer settings on your account first you will need to be logged in. From here you will need to click on the “help” icon at the top right hand side of your screen. The easiest way to get to the instructions is to type in block buyers into the search box.
This will then bring up as screen that provides you with all of the information that you require to block a buyer or buyers from your account. It is possible for you to block up to a maximum of 5000 different users from buying or bidding on any of your different products. From this screen you should see another icon that says “block bidders or buyers from your listings”. Click on this icon and it will then take you through to the final screen. You will now be presented with an empty white box. In this box you will need to type in the user ID or ID`s of the members that you wish to block from your account, if there are numerous ID`s you will need to separate each number with a comma. Once you have all of the ID numbers in the box that you wish to block then simply press submit and all of the members will be blocked from your account until you decide to allow them access again.
